Family Photo / Happy New Year!!!

One last picture I forgot to post before the new year! Oh my God and it is the greatest one of all. When I began my transition, only one thing made me most happy to imagine. It wasn't the way I'd look, or my voice, or getting properly gendered. No, it was honestly something just like this. It was imagining some of the old traditions I would do with my family, but as the correct me. I dreamt of the day when my aunt would say "Alright, let's get all the girls together for a picture," and that I would be included in that picture. My male cousin jumped in for fun, but here it is. This is the picture that sums up the biggest reason I kept going. Because of the hope that one day I would be "One of the girls" It may sound weird, but I have looked at this picture once a day since Christmas. Yes, that's how overjoyed it makes me, just to know that I have gotten there. My family, my friends, and even I now see myself as the woman who I am. Bless you, 2017. Onto the next one! ^_^
